Big Damn Prints is a yearly event held at Pratt Institute, which I participated in as a printmaking junior. For over 15 years, the event is an all day teamwork/community based event, where around 15 students have three weeks to carve into a 40" x 80" woodblock, and then on the Big Damn Prints day, all work collaboratively to ink and print these blocks. A steamroller comes to campus, where the lovely operator (Angel) Pratt has worked with for nearly a decade rolls over the prints!!
